ArchiGlobal & JLPD Partnership
A Synergized Design Service
In 2017, ArchiGlobal Inc. entered a strategic partnership with JLPD Studio, a master planning and design firm based in Manila, to synergize both firms’ rich experience in real estate planning and architectural design. The two firms are led by former planning executives of Ayala Land.
Ar. Michael P. Torres, the Principal of ArchiGlobal Inc., worked as VisMin Technical Planning Head for Cebu Holdings Inc, an affiliate of Ayala Land. He was part of the Ayala Land Vismin team responsible for the expansion of Ayala in Cebu and other parts of the Visayas and Mindanao.
Ar. Joel Luna, the Principal of JLPD Studio, worked as Chief Architect for Ayala Land’s Innovation and Design Group in the company’s headquarters in Makati. He had over 26 years of experience in the said company. He led the designs for all of the company’s products across all of the company’s business units and has driven the planning strategy and design effort of significant urban developments in the Philippines such as Bonifacio Global City, Bonifacio High Street, the Ayala Center Redevelopment, Nuvali, City Gate, the Ayala Triangle, Arca South, the redevelopment of Greenhills Shopping Center, and many others. Ar. Joel is also a sought-after speaker and has given lectures locally and internationally and has published articles on diverse topics such as mixed-use planning, township development, vertical cities and placemaking, and tourism estate development.
