ArchiGlobal Inc. bags Two Awards. Marina Bay Sands, Singapore
August 14, 2023. Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. A night to be remembered by ArchiGlobal Inc. when the firm, represented by its President-CEO and Principal Architect Michael P. Torres, received two awards from the Asia Architecture Design Awards (AADA). The firm got the Best Architectural Design Firm recognized for its “impactful and innovative” projects. It also secured the Best Commercial Building Architecture Design for the Tops Redevelopment Project.
It was quite a long journey before the awarding night. At the start of the year, ArchiGlobal decided to submit two entries for the AADA while not knowing which categories to join. Looking at the company’s most recent projects, the firm decided to put forward the iconic design for Tops Redevelopment and go for winning the Best Architectural Design Firm Award by submitting a portfolio of the firm’s 10 best projects.
Submission entries required submitting actual or conceptual photos of projects and a comprehensive write-up that answered the purpose of the AADA. ArchiGlobal justified its stunning designs by expounding on the following areas: IDEA, IMPACT, DIFFERENTIATION, FUNCTION, and INNOVATION.

Over 1,000 entrants submitted for the different award categories involving 436 projects all over Asia. It was May when ArchiGlobal Inc. received the news that its two entries made it to the top 100 shortlisted projects. In June, the entries had to undergo further design scrutiny by a roster of judges from different parts of the world. The winners were finally announced in the third week of July. The firm’s two entries both made it to the top.
