July 16, 2021. Priland’s Northwoods Residences, a project of ArchiGlobal Inc., received a BERDE Certification from the Philippine Green Building Council. BERDE is an acronym for Building for Ecologically Responsive Design Excellence, a voluntary green building rating system in the Philippines. It is a local counterpart of the US’s LEED, Australia’s Green Star, and Singapore’s Green Mark.
Northwoods is a condominium project a stone’s throw away from the Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu. The development features spacious residential units, ample circulation spaces, and abundant social spaces that are apt for student residents. The two towers’ orientation provides cross-ventilation in its common areas and ample views for the residential units. The building’s utilities are compliant with the requirements of the BERDE certification.
ArchiGlobal Inc.’s primary design principles, sustainable future, focus on people and community relevance, are aligned to the goals of PhilGBC’s BERDE rating system. This is part of the firm’s commitment to producing designs that hit the triple bottom line for real estate developments – aiming to achieve both the short-term and long-term benefits of the project. We are grateful to our client, Priland Development Corporation, for being gung-ho to producing green and sustainable developments.
