Mike worked for more than a decade in Cebu Holdings, an affiliate of Ayala Land, where he became the VisMin Technical Planning Head. He was part of the Ayala Land Vismin team responsible for the expansion of Ayala in Cebu and other parts of the Visayas and Mindanao. He earned a post-graduate diploma in Urban Planning from the University of the Philippines Diliman, School of Urban and Regional Planning in 1999 and completed the Strategic Business Economic Program of the University of Asia & the Pacific in 2007.

After Cebu Holdings, he ventured into establishing his architectural firm. He started from scratch, working hard and inspiring his team to do so as well. He named the firm ArchiGlobal, Inc., with the vision of doing things with global competitiveness and achieving a global reach. The firm offers a client-focused and business-oriented architectural design service that became its trademark and the main reason why the firm’s client base grew rapidly. From a starting base of just 3 architects, the design team of the firm is now almost a hundred heads strong. In 2017, through a partnership with a former colleague in Ayala Land, Ar. Joel Luna, the firm opened its first satellite office in Makati City.
