Last December 22, 2023, ArchiGlobal culminated the year with a Christmas celebration with the highlight of honoring those who had rendered 5, 10 and, for the first time, 15 years of service to the firm. The firm turned 15 last July 18 and our Principal Architect, Sir Mike Torres, expressed his heartfelt gratitude for all the hard work and valuable contribution that everyone rendered for the company. He recalled how we, back in 2021, aspired to have as an Ikigai to be a Top Design Firm – creating beautiful and meaningful architectural designs that will merit international recognition. It was in this year, 2023, that we fulfilled what previously seemed for us an impossible feat to achieve.
“It was a year of awards… awards that recognized our ability to design projects that altogether satisfy the needs of our clients, contribute to beautifying our built environment, and leave an impact to the community where our projects are built”. In a span of one year, ArchiGlobal won three international awards and several property awards for its real estate projects. It also maintained its position as one of the Top 10 architectural firms in the Philippines as assessed by BCI Asia.
“We cannot say, however, that we have already done our best. The biggest room in the world is the room for improvement (Helmut Schmidt).” In 2023, the firm acquired a number of projects that will be very relevant to the local communities where the projects are located. Our design process carried more investigation to get to know the context of the projects and to process how these contextual elements can be used to “catapult” the project to become successful, not only in business terms but also in becoming meaningful to the community. Aligned to our goal to be global, the firm was also fortunate to have projects where we collaborated with international firms from Australia and Singapore. The objective is to acquire the best design practices to make our architects and designers globally competitive themselves.
15 years is already old for an architectural firm but not all have acquired the volume of experience that ArchiGlobal had. We look forward for another year of creating meaningful architecture.
